Lies of p teaser6/3/2023 ![]() ![]() Looks like there aren't going to be any fog doors. Credit: Round8 Studio Lies Of P has premiered a new gameplay teaser, revealing a first glimpse at how Pinocchio has been transported into a grim Dark Souls. The trailer ends with the player breaking through a gate and entering a boss arena. Hideous and twisted automatons rule the landscape, and it’s up to P to find Mr. The ruined, but once beautiful city of Krat is on full display in the new video. The arm will likely function similarly to how it did in FromSoftware's last outing, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but one scene that showed the player pulling an enemy from an opposing rooftop to him like he was Nero from Devil May Cry is one of the biggest aspects that grabbed my attention and also feeds into that aggressive playstyle. Description: Neowiz and Round8 Studio today unveiled the first-ever gameplay video for Lies of P, a fantastically baroque Action RPG inspired by the classic Italian novel Pinocchio from Carlo Collodi. While aesthetically the game shares its gothic look with Bloodborne, one notable inclusion is Pinocchio's prosthetic. There are parries, staggering and dodging with movement that seems to incentivize more aggressive play. The player takes control of Pinocchio as he makes his way through the doomed city with familiar combat that fans of action RPGs should be accustomed to. Inspired by the familiar story of Pinocchio, Lies of P is an action souls-like game set in a dark Belle poque world. The trailer opens with pans through the city Krat, which has become filled with violent automatons, ranging from normal humanoids to towering beasts. ![]() The brand new trailer comes via IGN and shows off pre-Alpha gameplay of the upcoming Souls-inspired title, though, based on its gothic appearance and more aggressive playstyle from what was shown off, it would be more appropriate to call it Bloodborne-inspired. ![]()
